Can I move out before the tenancy ends?

Yes. From 1 May 2026 you can give two months notice that you wish to end the tenancy.
However, as the tenancy agreement is a Joint agreement notice to quit served by one tenant will terminate the agreement for all tenants. Once a valid notice is served, it may not be rescinded unless there is an agreement in writing between the landlord and the tenant before the notice expires.
