At the end of my second year am I able to stay in the house for my third year at University?

From 1 May 2026, the tenancy agreement will be  a rolling Assured Periodic tenancy. If you have conducted your tenancy in an acceptable manner, are happy with the house and service that we offer, you should be in a position to stay for a further year should you wish to do so.

Under these circumstances we would not seek to rely on Section 8 (Ground 4A) Renters' Rights Act 2025, requiring possession of the property at the end of your second year.
